    The International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing in 2023 was held on May 15-19 in the city of Sochi. Traditionally, the conference was held in a mixed format. Participants, at their will and where possible, could choose one of two formats of participation - the traditional face-to-face format or remotely via videoconference.

    With a face-to-face format and via video conference, anyone could remotely ask the speakers questions and receive oral answers to them.

    The conference organizers were Moscow Polytechnic University and Kazan State Power Engineering University.

    ICIEAM 2023 included a rich technical program consisting of 11 sections:
    Part 1. Power and Electrical Engineering:
    1.1. Smart and Micro Grids;
    1.2. Distributed Energy Systems;
    1.3. Renewable Energy and Energy Storage Systems;
    1.4. Power Quality;
    1.5. Power Electronics Converters, Electrical Machines and Drives;
    Part 2. Automation Engineering:
    2.1. Control Systems and Applications;
    2.2. Industrial Mechatronics and Robotics;
    2.3. Real Time Embedded Control;
    2.4. Sensors and Computer Vision;
    2.5. Theory and Applications of Dynamical Measurements;
    2.6. Modeling and Computer Technologies for Industrial Applications.

    More than 200 reports were selected by the program committee for participating in the conference (see program). Participants in academic research and their industrial colleagues from 17 countries took part in the conference in 2023. It covers the countries Russia, Belarus, China, England, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Portugal, Vietnam, Uzbekistan. Russian attendees represented 70 cities from the western and central parts to the Far East regions. International attendees represented 17 cities.

    English-speaking conference papers were accepted for publication in the digital library "IEEE Xplore" (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
