ABOUT THE CONFERENCE 2020

    In 2020, International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing was held on 18-22 of May. The spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 made adjustments to our lives that year, including the organization of the ICIEAM conference. ICIEAM was held as a virtual conference. Both oral sections and poster sections were organized on-line. Oral sections were implemented as a video conference. Poster sections were in a chat mode.

    The conference organizers were South Ural State University (national research university), Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University, Moscow Polytechnic University and Volgograd State Technical University.

    ICIEAM 2020 included a rich technical program consisting of 11 sections:
    Part 1. Power and Electrical Engineering:
    1.1. Smart and Micro Grids;
    1.2. Distributed Energy Systems;
    1.3. Renewable Energy and Energy Storage Systems;
    1.4. Power Quality;
    1.5. Power Electronics Converters, Electrical Machines and Drives;
    Part 2. Automation Engineering:
    2.1. Control Systems and Applications;
    2.2. Industrial Mechatronics and Robotics;
    2.3. Real Time Embedded Control;
    2.4. Sensors and Computer Vision;
    2.5. Theory and Applications of Dynamical Measurements;
    2.6. Modeling and Computer Technologies for Industrial Applications.

    More than 220 reports were selected by the program committee for participating in the conference (see program). In 2020, scientists and practicians from 13 countries took part in the conference, including representatives of 51 Russian cities from the western and central parts to the Far East regions. International participants represented 43 cities and 17 countries. These are countries such as China, Egypt, France, India, Iraq, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Portugal, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

    ICIEAM 2020 was supported by IEEE Industry Applications Society and IEEE Power Electronics Society.

    English-speaking conference papers were accepted for publication in the digital library "IEEE Xplore" (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
